The Swiss E-Sports Federation has made it their goal to increase awareness and understanding of eSports, both as a casual past-time and as an officially recognized sport. They work to establish eSports in mainstream media by working closely with different teams and organizations from Switzerland. In the meantime they represent the interests of eSports athletes and organizations through collaborations with tournaments and events, working to properly establish rules and regulations in Esports. They also plan the official Swiss National Qualifiers, the winners of which will represent Switzerland as a national team in the World Championship, and will receive additional support from SESF in finding sponsors and by organizing the trip.
